Note: Key plot points for the third episode of the new season are included.
The Soldiers Table Unveiled
The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.
The Soldiers table includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis Willingham), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).
The Reason for Division
With 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at one table would be impossible.
This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Fighters, Strategists, and Seekers.
What Defines the Warrior Group
Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.
Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might look unsuited, but the developments of the latest installment show why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.
Motivations for Departure
To begin with, the team understands precisely where to head next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.
Casimir of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the narrative’s action—used the foes for his selfish purposes, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.
The antagonist then cleared his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in the remote area, above the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.
Individual Reasons
Secondly, each member has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:
- The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, wants vengeance.
- Kattigan is familiar with the region and advises that it is a nasty place.
- The warrior and The cleric, having defied his relatives’ demands to kill the fighter and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
- However, their status as important members in the powerful family could help the party enter places they normally couldn’t.
- Moreover, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:
- Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
- The warrior and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
- The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.
This leaves them no alternative but to travel to Timmony in search of the antagonist.
Upcoming Developments
